Good afternoon NOVAC,
On the verge of another weekend and while it looks to be a bit cooler than much of this week we might get some clear skies again on Saturday!

Remember to set your clocks (and telescope mounts if necessary) ahead one hour this Sunday.  Doing so will put you in great position to catch our monthly meeting which is THIS SUNDAY at 7:30pm (EDT).  Join early if you want for some extra chat time!

Dr. Andrea Dupree of the Harvard & Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics will be speaking on her work of investigating the dimming of Betelgeuse, one of the brightest stars in our winter skies.  See this month’s  Sky & Telescope cover story for a sneak preview.
