The Novac Solar Special Interest Group

The Solar SIG is an informal group that gets together at Novac events to observe and discuss the sun. Equipment includes white, hydrogen-alpha and calcium K filters. SIG members can be found at Astronomy Day, The Star Gaze and the club picnic. Plan to arrive early and enjoy an amazing view of our closest star.
